Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Drone Works, LLC ("Company," "we," "us") collects, uses, and shares information in connection with the UAS Dashboard platform and applications (the "Service").

1. Information We Collect

• Account information: name, email address, phone numbers, employee identifiers, role, organization, and credentials (passwords are stored as salted hashes; we cannot read them).
• Operational data you or your organization submit: flight logs and telemetry (including takeoff/landing locations, flight paths, altitudes, timestamps), aircraft and equipment records, schedules and shift logs, checklists, documents, hazard reports, and — where the business tools are enabled — client, quote, invoice, and payment records.
• Location data: device location when you grant permission (for maps and weather/airspace briefings) and locations embedded in flight logs you upload.
• Device and usage data: IP address, browser/device type, app version, pages and features used, and diagnostic logs.
• Payment data: handled by our payment processor (Stripe); we do not store full card numbers.

2. How We Use Information

To provide, secure, and support the Service; to process transactions and billing; to display maps, weather, and airspace information you request; to generate the records and reports your organization configures; to communicate service notices; to prevent fraud and abuse; to comply with law; and, using aggregated or de-identified information only, to analyze and improve the Service.

3. How We Share Information

• Within your organization: your data is visible to other authorized users of your organization according to the roles your administrators configure.
• Service providers (subprocessors): hosting and database providers, payment processing (Stripe), email delivery, map/weather/airspace data providers, and error monitoring — each only as needed to run the Service and bound to appropriate protections.
• Integrations you connect: if you connect third-party services (e.g., AirData, DJI, Skydio), data flows to/from them per your configuration and their policies.
• Legal: when required by law, subpoena, or to protect rights, safety, or the integrity of the Service.
• Business transfers: in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, with notice.

We DO NOT sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

4. Retention

We retain information while your organization's account is active and as needed for the purposes above. After account closure, Customer Data is deleted in the ordinary course following the export window described in the Terms of Service, except that we may retain limited records (e.g., billing records, consent/acceptance logs, backups on their deletion cycle) as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

5. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, including encryption in transit, encrypted storage of integration credentials, role-based access controls, and audit logging. No system is perfectly secure; you are responsible for safeguarding your credentials.

6. Your Choices And Rights

You may access and update account information in the app. Depending on your jurisdiction (e.g., California, or other states with comprehensive privacy laws), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal information, and to not be discriminated against for exercising those rights. Requests may be submitted to info@uasdashboard.com; where the Company processes data on behalf of your organization, we may redirect requests to your organization's administrator. Location permissions can be revoked in your device settings (some features will stop working).

7. Children

The Service is for business/government use and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

8. Changes To This Policy

We will post updates here and, for material changes, require re-acceptance or provide prominent notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
